Cost of a solar power plant (SPP)
The approximate total cost of a solar power station is 19,500 – 26,000 UAH per 1 kW of installed capacity.
The price depends on the type of equipment, installation complexity, roof configuration, and technical characteristics of the facility.
The cost of 1 kW of an SPP includes:
- Solar panels (PV modules)
Photovoltaic modules of the appropriate capacity with high efficiency and a manufacturer’s warranty. The number of panels is calculated individually according to the planned capacity of the station.
- Metal mounting system
Reliable mounting structures for installing FEM on:
- flat roofs
- pitched (sloped) roofs
- metal tile roofs
The mountings are designed to withstand wind and snow loads and ensure the durability of the structure.
- Cable products and switching
Specialized solar cables for connecting panels to each other in strings.
All strings are connected to a single connection point and equipped with professional connectors for further connection to an inverter or converter.
Cables with UV protection and appropriate insulation for outdoor installation are used.
- Installation consumables
Sealants, fasteners, protective corrugations, ties, markings, insulation materials, and other components necessary for safe and accurate installation. - Installation work
A full range of work, including:
- marking and installation of fasteners
- installation of solar panels
- laying of cable routes
- formation of strings
- preparation of the connection point to the inverter
Important
The specified cost applies specifically to the part of the solar power station responsible for generating electricity (panels + installation).
The inverter, protection system, automation, and (if necessary) batteries are calculated separately depending on the type of station—grid-connected, hybrid, or stand-alone.
The correct selection of components and professional installation directly affect the efficiency, safety, and service life of a solar power plant.
